Chai Turmeric Tea is a comforting brew anytime of the day. Coupled with the health benefits of turmeric and you are giving your body a healthful boost. Making chai from scratch requires a medley of spices. An alternative is to purchase a good quality prepared blend and add a few extra spices for added zing.

Ingredients
- 2 bags good quality chai tea
- ¾ cup (175 mL) boiling water
- 1 star anise
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Botanica Turmeric Golden Mylk
- 1 cup (250 mL) almond milk
Directions
1. Steep chai tea bags in boiling water with star anise and cinnamon stick for 5 minutes. Strain.
2. Stir Botanica Turmeric Golden Mylk powder into chai tea to blend. Steam almond milk until hot and foamy.
3. Add chai tea and stir to blend.
4. Pour into 2 serving mugs and sprinkle with a little extra Golden Mylk powder and serve.
