Qualifications
Wild Cherry bark, black cherry, or sometimes called chokecherry, is one of North Americas famous herbs grown mostly in the eastern United States. Wild Cherry bark is best known for its ability to help with upper respiratory disease and commonly used to treat coughs.
Our unique liquid herbs are crafted through an advanced spagyric process to create the most bioavailable herbs. First, herbs are soaked in organic alcohol. When time has allowed the plant to dissolve, the remaining matter is reduced without chemicals to a white ash rich in trace minerals and then rejoined with the original extract. It’s time-consuming but the end result is a herbal formula with all the valuable minerals present in the plant’s natural state.
Wildcrafted Wild Cherry bark (Prunus virginiana), Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza uralensis), wildcrafted Mullein herb/leaf (Verbascum thapsus), wildcrafted Lobelia herb and seed (Lobelia inflata), Wild Lettuce herb (Lactuca virosa), Khella seed (Ammi visnaga).
Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic alcohol, vegetable glycerin, distilled water.
30-40 drops (1.5-2 mL) taken up to 6 times per day.
Consult a health practitioner if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Is the new packaging, specifically the boxes for the liquid herbs sustainably made?
Rest assured, our boxes are recyclable, made with FSC-certified post-consumer paper, and printed with vegetable-based ink.
Where does the alcohol used in Botanica tinctures come from? For the extraction process, Botanica uses organic pharmaceutical grade ethyl alcohol USP derived from non-GMO corn. Alcohol makes it easier for the body to assimilate plant compounds, and tinctures have a concentration that can be easily varied as needed.
