This Salted Caramel Smoothie is dessert in a glass. The combination of these duelling favourites makes caramel savoury and salt sweet. The addition of Botanica’s Vanilla Perfect Protein and Unflavoured Perfect Greens make this tasty treat a satisfying meal!

Ingredients
- 2 tsp (10 mL) prepared caramel sauce
- Flaked salt
- 2 cups (500 mL) coconut or almond milk
- 3 pitted medjool dates
- 1 small, ripe banana
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) smooth peanut or almond butter
- 1 scoop Botanica Perfect Protein Vanilla
- 1 scoop Botanica Perfect Greens Unflavoured
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) natural sliced almonds, toasted
Directions
1. Brush rim of a glass with caramel sauce. Then sprinkle flaked salt in a shallow dish. Dip sticky rim into salt to line edge.
2. Place remaining ingredients, except sliced almonds, in a high-speed blender. Whirl until creamy and smooth.
3. Pour into salt-rimmed glass and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
