Healthy Apple Crumble
Ingredients:
Apple filling:
- 4-5 large apples, peeled and sliced (I used honey crisp but Gala and Granny Smith are great too!)
- Juice from 1/4 of a lemon (~1 tbsp)
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp arrowroot powder
Crumble:
- 1 serving Perfect Protein Vanilla
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 4 tbsp butter or coconut oil, melted
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°.

In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, and arrowroot powder.

In another bowl, mix the protein powder, oats, almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Layer the apples in a dish, top evenly with the crumble, and bake for ~25 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden brown.

Let it cool before serving, and top with vanilla ice cream or yogurt. Enjoy!
