Ingredients:
Brownies
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup Perfect Protein Chocolate
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 4 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 5 medjool dates, soaked on hot water for 10 minutes, pit removed
- ¼ cup tahini (runny is best), or whatever nut or seed butter you enjoy most.
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Coating (Optional)
- ¾ cup dark chocolate chips
- ½ tsp olive oil
- flaky salt (optional)
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)
Directions:
- Place a piece of parchment paper down onto a large plate.
- Drain dates and remove the pit. I use a sharp paring knife to slice the date open.
- Add everything into a food processor and blend to combine. Scrape down sides as needed.
- If mixture appears too dry, add milk.
- Use a cookie scoop to measure out dough. Use your hands to roll into balls.
- Place in the fridge or freezer to firm up for 30 minutes.
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Melt in 30 second increments until smooth. Stir in olive oil.
- Use a fork to drop balls into melted chocolate. Place back on the plate. Sprinkle tops of each ball with cacao nibs and flaky salt.
- Place in the fridge or freezer to set.
- Store in an airtight container either in fridge or freezer. Enjoy!
