2018 has been the year of plant-based eating and I couldn’t be happier! They’re all superfoods. Every. Single. One.
Plant-based foods such as fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds, and beans are super chocked-full of nutrients and come with a load of gut bacteria-friendly prebiotic fibre.
But, one superpower of plants we don’t always talk about is their medicinal prowess. Is there anything plants can’t do?
Plants and herbs have been used as medicine throughout most of human history, we’re talkin’ thousands of years. They’re used to help us support our body and to aid in healing.
