We are SO excited that this month marks our 10th year in business! A little-known fact about Botanica is that we have twelve employees who have been with us since the day we’ve started. We wanted to take the time to feature some of these employees who have helped us grow to where we are today.

Without further ado, meet Charity!

Charity – Education Manager

How did you first start working at Botanica?
I started as a sales rep for the company, with a passion for educating our customers on our top-notch herbs and supplements.

What are your three “must-have” Botanica products and why?
Dr Ohhira’s Probiotics & our fermented daily health shots– I am a huge fan of fermented foods & herbs and these encompass both. Our Ashwagandha Liquid Capsules too – it contains a therapeutic dose of ashwagandha in just 2 caps/day, and it gives me a huge boost of energy and adrenal support for my busy lifestyle.

What’s your favourite part about working at Botanica?
Being able to educate and inspire people about herbal medicine and whole food nutrition that may just change their lives!

Botanica currently has 12 employees that have been with the company for all ten years. Why do you think people love working here so much?
The people, mission, and purpose behind the company are fundamentally good natured with a focus on improving peoples’ lives and the planet as a whole. It’s inspiring to get up in the morning and be part of this incredible team.

If you had to describe the work culture at Botanica in one word, what would it be?
Passionate.

What’s one interesting fact about you?
I’m a clinical herbalist and have been studying natural medicine for almost 20 years now.

How has working at Botanica impacted your wellness journey?
It has taught me a lot about the manufacturing side of things and how natural products are made.

Do you have any recent accomplishments we can highlight?
I had a baby 2 years ago and she continues to be my biggest accomplishment!

What are you most excited about for Botanica in the future?
New, exciting, and innovative products. Botanica is definitely a leader in the world of herbal and nutritional supplements.
