Turmeric
Dry Herb Equivalent of 2040 mg
Turmeric has a long and rich history in India as a medicinal root. It has traditionally been used as an anti-inflammatory to, among other uses, help relieve joint pain, aid digestion, and protect the liver. In recent years, several of its compounds have been shown in research to offer health benefits, with most of the attention going to Curcumin. However, other compounds play important therapeutic roles as well [1,2] and even improve the absorption of Curcumin. [3] This is why Botanica chooses to use the WHOLE root as it provides better access to all therapeutic compounds. Our capsules are standardized to the two key families of compounds: curcuminoids and turmerones.
