Pistachio and Chocolate Baked Donuts
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup crushed pistachio nuts + additional nuts for topping
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup Perfect Greens
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a donut pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, pistachio nuts, chocolate chips, Perfect Greens powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the donut pan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
