Ashwagandha has been a general tonic for overall physical and mental health for centuries. It’s been known to reduce stress, reduce tiredness and balance hormones.

Ingredients
- 1 English cucumber
- 1 cup (250 mL) tomato vegetable juice
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon or lime juice
- ½ tsp (2 mL) Botanica Ashwagandha Liquid Extract
- ½ tsp (2 mL) raw honey
- ¼ tsp (1 mL) each smoked paprika, dried cilantro and salt
Instructions
1. To make cucumber shooter cups, cut a cucumber into 1 in (2.5 cm) thick rounds.
2. Using a small spoon, scoop out centres leaving the base intact. You should have about 12 little cups.
3. In a high-speed blender, whirl remaining ingredients until smooth and creamy.
4. Pour into cucumber cups, garnish and serve.
