A balanced healthy mood can be a challenging state to achieve. Botanica certified organic St. John’s Wort Liquid Herb provides a potent, concentrated extract which helps relieve restlessness and nervousness and promote positive emotional health.
Whole Food Ingredients
St John’s Wort has been used since ancient times for a range of health problems. It was used to treat ulcers, burns, wounds and abdominal pains, and was considered primarily for afflictions of the nervous system including nerve pain, hysteria and menopausal neurosis.
Our unique liquid herbs are crafted through an advanced spagyric process to create the most bioavailable herbs. First, herbs are soaked in organic alcohol. When time has allowed the plant to dissolve, the remaining matter is reduced without chemicals to a white ash rich in trace minerals and then rejoined with the original extract. It’s time-consuming but the end result is a herbal formula with all the valuable minerals present in the plant’s natural state.
Organic St. John’s Wort aerial parts (Hypericum perforatum) 1:2 equivalent to 1000mg per serving.
Each 20 drops (1 mL) contain 500mg dry herb equivalent.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic cane alcohol, distilled water.
40 drops (2 mL) taken 2 times per day. Use for at least 1 week to see beneficial effects. Best taken with five deep, slow breaths.

Can I add liquid tinctures to hot tea with the same benefits of taking just the drops straight?
There are many different ways of taking a tincture and it is no problem to add it to a tea. That is a very effective way to help it absorb into the system.
Where does the alcohol used in Botanica tinctures come from?
For the extraction process, Botanica uses USP certified organic pharmaceutical grade ethyl alcohol derived from non-GMO corn. Alcohol makes it easier for the body to assimilate plant compounds, and tinctures have a concentration that can be easily varied as needed.
