Valerian has been used as a medicinal herb since at least the time of ancient Greece and Rome. It has long been used to promote deep and restful sleep in those with occasional sleeplessness. Widely known as a sedative and calmative, Valerian is useful for insomnia and nervousness.

Our liquid herbs are crafted through a careful process to create the most bioavailable herbs. First, whole herbs, not powders, are soaked in organic cane alcohol for weeks to draw out active compounds. And then we go gently—without chemicals or high temperatures— to concentrate the herbal extract further. Every step of the process is tested for both purity and potency from harvest to bottling.

Organic fresh Skullcap herb (Scutellaria lateriflora), organic fresh milky oat seed (Avena sativa), organic fresh Hops strobiles (Humulus lupulus), organic fresh Passionflower herb (Passiflora incarnata), organic fresh Valerian root (Valariana officinale), fresh wildcrafted California Poppy whole plant (Eschscholzia californica).

Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic alcohol,  vegetable glycerin, distilled water.

For insomnia 40–80 drops (2–4 mL), take in the evening (ideally in Chamomile tea) while symptoms persist. For general anxiety or withdrawal 30–40 drops (1.5–2 mL) taken 3 times per day.
