Dandelion root and leaf have traditionally been used in Chinese medicine to treat such conditions as abscesses, appendicitis, boils, caries, dermatitis, fevers, inflammations, leucorrhea, liver ailments, mastitis, scrofula, snakebites, and weak digestion.
Our unique liquid herbs are crafted through an advanced spagyric process to create the most bioavailable herbs. First, herbs are soaked in organic alcohol. When time has allowed the plant to dissolve, the remaining matter is reduced without chemicals to a white ash rich in bioavailable trace minerals and then rejoined with the original extract. It’s time-consuming but the vegetable-based is an herbal formula with all the valuable minerals present in the plant’s natural state. Every step of the process is tested for both purity and potency from harvest to bottling.
Certified organic Fresh Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale), fresh wildcrafted & biodynamic Artichoke leaf (Cynara scolymus), Gentian root (Gentiana lutea), fresh Peppermint herb (Mentha piperita), certified organic Angelica root (Angelica archangelica) and certified organic Orange Peel (Citrus spp.).
Non-medicinal ingredients: Certified organic alcohol, distilled water.

What is the source of alcohol used in Botanica tinctures?
Botanica uses certified organic USP pharmaceutical grade non-GMO corn-derived ethyl alcohol as an extraction method. The alcohol enhances absorption of the herbal constituents in the body and the tinctures have a dosage that can easily be varied if necessary.
Is the new packaging, specifically the boxes for the liquid herbs sustainably made?
Rest assured, our boxes are recyclable, made with FSC-certified post-consumer paper, and printed with vegetable-based ink.
