For thousands of years, turmeric has been valued in Ayurveda as medicine taken internally in a variety of forms including juice, boiled tea, tinctures, or powder, and even topically. It goes further than medicinal, turmeric is almost a sacred part of the culture – there’s a Hindu wedding tradition that stands to this day.
Our small batch brewing process starts with organic turmeric and ginger harvested at peak potency. It’s made into a herbal tea and combined with a unique scoby (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). Then patience. We wait. We ferment fully for months, unlike other kombuchas which typically ferment for mere days or weeks.
Medicinal Ingredients: (per 20 ml) Fermented ginger and turmeric infusion, 10-15 g/L of acetic acid
equivalent from organic turmeric (Curcuma longa) and organic ginger (Zingiber officinale).
One shot (20 mL/4 tsp) per day. Drink straight-up or mix with water or juice. And take five deep. slow breathes. Inhale. Exhale. Because we all need a reminder to slow down sometimes.
