Maui Morning Oats with Omega-3’sBotanica Health

Hale and hearty – these Maui Morning Oats with Omega-3’s make for an energizing breakfast. The addition of Botanica’s sustainably sourced Perfect Omega gives these morning oats an added boost of omega-3’s, while Botanica’s organic Coconut Oil adds a fantastic flavour profile. You can also pack these oats along for the trail and eat it midday!
Recipe Type: Breakfast
- 1 cup (250 mL) plain coconut or Greek yogurt
- ½ cup (125 mL) milk or milk substitute
- ½ cup (125 mL) old-fashioned oats
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) Botanica Coconut Oil, melted
- 2 Tbsp (30 mL) Botanica Perfect Omega – Peach Mango
- ½ cup (125 mL) nut butter such as peanut or cashew
- Diced pineapple
- Diced kiwi
- Golden raisins
- Toasted coconut
- Almond slices
1. In a bowl stir together yogurt, milk oats, chia seeds, Botanica Coconut Oil and Botanica Perfect Omega.
2. Divide nut butter among four 1 cup (250 mL) containers such as canning jars. Top with overnight oats. Refrigerate overnight.
3. To serve, add your choice of toppings to each. To take, simply seal and pack to go.
