Bloody Mary Holy Basil Shooters
Botanica’s Daily Zen Shot is the quintessential stress reducer as well as a helpful antioxidant. Certainly, easy to pop some drops straight from the bottle. But for an added little boost we combined it with a non-alcohol Bloody Mary beverage. Great fun when served with a little crostini and seasoned prawn.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) low-sodium tomato juice
- ½ tsp (2 mL) horseradish sauce
- ¼ tsp (1 mL) hot sauce
- ¼ tsp (1 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ tsp (1 mL) celery salt
- 60 drops Botanica Daily Zen Shot
- 2 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
- 1 tsp (5 mL) honey
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) minced fresh parsley or basil
- 4 tsp (20 mL) salsa
- 4 poached and peeled prawns, lightly seasoned
Directions
1. In a measuring cup combine tomato juice with horseradish sauce, hot sauce, Worcestershire Sauce and celery salt in a measuring cup. Stir to blend.
2. Pour equal amounts into small shooter glasses. Add 30 to 60 drops Botanica Daily Zen Shot to each and stir in.
3. Cut out 4 rounds of toast just large enough to rest on top of glasses. Lightly brush edges with honey and roll in minced fresh herbs.
4. Gently rest on top of cups along with a dollop of salsa. Skewer a prawn with a cocktail skewer and place on top. Enjoy!
