Ingredients
- 4 cups (1 L) pure apple cider
- 5 cloves
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cardamom pods
- 2 star anise
- 1-in (2.50 cm) piece fresh ginger root, sliced
- 1-in (2.5 cm) piece lemon zest
- ½ naval orange, thinly sliced into rounds
- 4 tsp (20 mL) Botanica Daily Anti-Inflammatory Shot
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients except for orange and Botanica Daily Anti-Inflammatory Shot in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes for flavours to blend.
2. Strain and return liquid to saucepan. Add orange slices. Keep simmering.
3. To serve, place 4 teaspoons (20 mL) Botanica Daily Anti-Inflammatory Shot in a warmed serving mug. Add 1 cup (250 mL) hot cider and stir in. Enjoy!
